I’m looking forward to attending (and presenting) this weekend at an exciting new festival: The Living Tamil LitFest: Bringing Modern Tamil Literature to the World. The organizers have put together an amazing roster of translators, both from Tamil and from various other languages, including Suchitra Ramachandran, Iswarya V, Esther Allen, Damion Searls, Kareem James Abu-Zeid, Padma Viswanathan, Vivek Narayanan, and Thomas Hitoshi Pruiksma.
